In 2015 it was rewarding to be part of Badminton Ireland corporate social responsibility (csr) programme where we ran a donate a racquet campaign across the country in partnership with a local Irish Charity and the BWF. We were astonished at the support we received.
We were able to collect around 600 racquets, 400 shuttles and around 100 project shirts for the Badminton Associations in Uganda and Lesotho two of the world’s poorest nations.
I am happy to have seen both nations developing their Shuttletime programmes over the past three years with the resources provided.
